The plans are in the works for the 2023 NC Potato Festival!
Check back for updates.
Bring the whole family and "Come and Stay All THREE DAYS!" Northeast North Carolina's largest festival will return on Friday, May 19, 2023. Elizabeth City's downtown streets will be lined with food, arts and crafts, contests,
live entertainment, plus a Midway full of games and amusement rides.
Make a weekend of it, and join us for the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening at 5:30 pm. The Beer & Wine Garden will be open from 6 pm - 11 pm (Bring ID). Take a spin on a ride on our Midway, get something great to eat, and dance the night away at the 2023 North Carolina Potato Festival.
Return on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the Street Fair lining our downtown streets, the National Potato Peeling Contest, Free French Fries (while they last), Auto and Motorcycle Show, Fun Run/Walk, and other events planned for this years festival. Don't leave too early or you might miss the USCG Search and Rescue demonstration over the Pasquotank River Sunday afternoon.
For the safety of your pet NO ANIMALS are allowed within the Festival area.
