Friday - 5 pm to 11 pm
Saturday - 10am to 11pm

The NC Potato Festival is a fun-filled, family festival that celebrates one of Northeast North Carolina's largest crops - Potatoes!

Northeast North Carolina's largest festival will return again on Friday, May 15, 2015 -  bigger and better than ever.  Bring the whole family and Come and Stay All THREE DAYS!

Food, arts and crafts, contests, live entertainment plus - a Midway full of games and large amusement rides can all be found in Downtown Elizabeth City.  USCG Kennebec will be docked at Waterfront Park on Friday and Saturday offering tours from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Make a weekend of it and come and join us for the Kick Off Party on Friday night, May 15, 2015 on the corner of Main and Water Streets.  Take a spin on a ride on our Midway, get something great to eat, and dance the night away at the 2015 North Carolina Potato Festival.

We're sure you'll want to return on Saturday and Sunday so you can be enjoy the Street Fair lining our downtown streets, the National Potato Peeling Contest, Auto and Motorcycle Show, tour the USCG Kennebec and other events planned for this years festival.

In addition to celebrating that great crop "Potatoes" we have chosen to honor the United States Coast Guard as our mascot in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Elizabeth City Coast Guard Base.  You will see a lot of the Coast Guard on display at the festival this year  The Saturdays events will start with the 7.5K USCG Fun Run/Walk at 8:00  Then go by and take a tour of the USCG Kennebec docked at Waterfront park and take a browse down Coast Guard Row and talk with a Rescue Swimmer and buy a 75th Anniversary USCG T Shirt. Don't leave too early or you might miss the USCG Search and Rescue demonstration over the Pasquotank River Saturday afternoon.
